Terms of Use

These terms set the conditions for using this site and our personalized song service, including content rules, payment, delivery, refunds and limits of liability.

1. What the service is

songs2you creates a personal, recreational and sentimental digital product: lyrics, a free preview and a complete song built from the information you send us. The service may include automated generation, audio processing, and delivery by order page, download link and email. It may also include optional add-ons, such as the same song in a second musical style or an additional song for another person.

2. Who can use it

The service is for people aged 18 or over with full legal capacity. If you order on behalf of someone else, you confirm that you are authorized to do so. Information about children or teenagers should only be submitted by a parent, legal guardian or authorized person, with restraint and in the best interest of the minor.

3. The information you send

You are solely responsible for the truth, legality, completeness and authorized use of everything you submit. You may not send content that is illegal, offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, pornographic, violent or threatening, that exposes someone's private life without permission, or that infringes copyright, trademarks, image rights, honour, privacy, personal data or any other third-party right.

4. Sensitive information and third parties

Please avoid sending sensitive or excessive information, such as health, religion, sex life, political opinion, racial or ethnic origin, data about minors, family disputes or intimate details. If you choose to send such information, you confirm that you are entitled to do so and understand that it will be used only to create the song you requested, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. The artistic result

Your song is a personalized artistic creation, recreational and non-professional, produced from the information you provide using composition and production tools. Lyrics, melody, performance, arrangement, timbre, length, pronunciation, style, mixing and the emotion it evokes will vary. We do not promise the voice or sound of any famous artist, a real third party's voice, a result identical to any known song, commercial success, a specific emotional reaction, or absolute subjective satisfaction.

6. The lyrics

Lyrics are generated from the names, facts, relationships and context you submit. You are responsible for reviewing the preview, checking that the content is appropriate, and not using, publishing or sharing material that could offend, expose or defame anyone or infringe privacy, image rights, copyright or any other third-party right. songs2you is not responsible for consequences arising from false, improper, unauthorized or excessive information you provide, nor for how you later use or share the lyrics or the song.

7. Preview, remakes and approval

The free preview exists to show you an initial version of the product before you pay. Where the option to adjust, remake or regenerate is offered, it follows the limits stated on your order page. Buying the complete song does not turn the preview into a work under your unlimited artistic direction; adjustments, when offered, are limited to the product flow and to what is technically feasible.

8. Payment and release

Prices are shown before payment and are charged in US dollars. Where a price is also displayed in your local currency, that figure is an approximate conversion for your convenience; the amount actually charged is the US dollar amount. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. The complete song and any add-ons are released after payment is confirmed. Release depends on the payment provider's response, anti-fraud checks, technical availability and correct identification of your order. Delays at your bank, the payment gateway, your internet connection, our hosting, email providers or the generation provider may affect timing.

9. Add-ons bought at checkout

Optional add-ons selected at checkout are charged together with your song, in a single payment. Each add-on is produced after payment is confirmed and is delivered in its own email as soon as it is ready, which may be after your main song arrives. The "instant delivery" option affects only when your song is unlocked; it does not change the song itself. An extra musical style reuses the lyrics of your main song; an additional song for another person is created from the separate details you provide for that person.

10. Delivery

Delivery happens through your order page, a download link and email. You must give us a correct email address, check your inbox, spam and promotions folders, and keep access to your device. If something does not arrive, our support team can resend your access once we identify your order by order number, email address or phone number used at purchase.

11. Refunds and cancellation

Our 7-day guarantee, described at the top of this page, applies to every purchase: contact us within 7 days of your purchase and we will refund you in full. After that window, because this is a personalized digital product created to order from the details you provide, cancellation and refund requests may be declined once generation has started, the preview has been made available, payment has been confirmed, or the audio has been released, downloaded or emailed. None of this removes any mandatory statutory rights you may have, including where there has been a proven failure of the service, an incorrect charge, or non-delivery caused solely by us.

12. How you may use your song

Unless we agree otherwise in writing, your song is licensed for personal, recreational, sentimental and non-commercial use: listening, downloading, gifting, and posting on your personal social media for non-commercial purposes. You may not resell, sublicense, monetize or distribute it on commercial music platforms, register it as your own exclusive work, or use it in advertising, campaigns, paid events, products, services, business profiles, sponsored content or any other commercial exploitation without our prior permission.

13. Intellectual property

Delivering your song does not transfer, unless separately agreed, all economic rights, technologies, prompts, processes, arrangements, trademarks, layouts, systems, models or templates used to create it. You receive a licence to use the final file within the limits of these terms. We may keep technical records and versions needed for support, auditing, security and proof of your order.

14. Prohibited conduct

You may not attempt to bypass payment, preview play limits, the delivery flow, or the security of the site, its APIs, links, automations, files or systems; copy, scrape, resell, clone or commercially exploit the service; or engage in fraud, improper chargebacks, reverse engineering, abusive use, attacks, spam or the submission of false data.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, songs2you is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, emotional disappointment, subjective expectations, unauthorized commercial use, your own misuse or publication of the song, third-party complaints arising from the data or stories you provided, incorrect or unauthorized information you submitted, third-party failures, internet instability, temporary unavailability, email blocking, banking delays or events beyond our reasonable control.

16. Support and resolution

For technical problems, delivery questions or anything about your order, write to [email protected] with your order number and the email address used at purchase. You agree to try to resolve any issue through our support channel before taking outside action, without prejudice to your rights under the law.

17. Changes

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the product, our providers, operational rules or legal requirements. The version published on this page is the version in force for new visits and new purchases.
